An Integration Method of Bursting Strain Energy and Seismic Velocity Tomography for Coal Burst Hazard Assessment

Abstract The occurrence of coal burst in underground mines is complex, abrupt, and diverse, the evaluation prediction hazard premise effective prevention control burst. In this study, a carrier system model under synergistic action roof, seams, floor was established, evolution discussed based on stress-vibration-energy coupling principle. On basis, an integration method bursting strain energy seismic velocity tomography for assessment proposed. With deep complex panel mine as research object, risk during excavation evaluated time space domains, respectively. Results showed that active technology can accurately identify both positive anomalies negative stress field mining period. Moreover, not only evaluate temporal domain but also predict area with potential strong events spatial domain. conclusions illustrate whole process mines.
